Ein Hallo an Dich und all Deine Leser! Mein Name ist Albert und ich bin ein arbeitender xxxbewußter Skinhead aus Griechenland und 28 Jahre alt.

 

Du veröffentlichst die Blogsite "Glory days of RAC" (http://gloryrac.blogspot.com). Erzähle mal was über Deinen Blog.

Im Dezember 2006 hat das Internet großen Einfluß auf mich ausgeübt und spielte eine immer wichtigere Rolle in der Bewegung. Ich entwickelte die Seite "Glory days of RAC", eine Seite, die den Anfangszeiten unserer Musikrevolution gewidmet ist. Hier soll es auch mehr um rare und meist unbekannte RAC-Bands gehen.

 

Wie kamst Du auf die Idee?

Ich bin schon lange Zeit in die Szene integriert, in all die Aktionen als junger NS-Skin, politisch, musikalisch und sonstwie. Aber ich war und bin auch Sammler und hier interessierten mich vor allem RAC-Gruppen der ersten Stunde und hier vor allem die aus England. Es ist nunmal so, daß viele dieser Bands recht unbekannt für die meisten sind, kaum einer hörte je Musik von denen, oder kaum einer sah je Fotos von diesen Gruppen. Ich sah bisher auch noch keine Seite, auf der etwas in der Richtung zu finden ist. So kam das eine zum anderen und ich bringe das alles zusammen mit meinem Musikwissen in den Blog mit ein.

 

Warum wähltest Du diese Weise etwas zu machen und nicht etwa eine typische Internetseite oder ein Zine im Druckformat oder so?

Weil die Blogs kostenlos sind, Du brauchst dafür nichts zahlen und auch weil man kein Programm zum Erstellen eines Blogs benötigt. Ich habe zwar das nötige Wissen eine Netzseite zu erstellen, aber aus erstem Grund nutze ich einen Blog zur Umsetzung meiner Idee. Eine Druckausgabe kommt für die Idee nicht in Betracht, da die unbekannten Bands durch den Blog eher Beachtung finden können.

 

Was möchtest Du mit Deiner Seite erreichen?

Nichts. Ich will mich einfach nur mit anderen Kameraden darüber austauschen. Es ist zum eigenem Vergnügen, ein Hobby und gut für die Bewegung. Wir brauchten lange schon so eine Seite.

 

Machst Du alles allein, oder bekommst Du Hilfe von anderen Leuten?

Zum Beginn machte ich alles komplett allein und das ganze Material stammte aus meiner privaten Sammlung. Nach einiger Zeit, sandten mir alte Kameraden Material und halfen mir auch so. Auch wurden einige Leute auf die Seite aufmerksam und brachten Sachen über verloren geglaubte Bands zutage, oder versorgten die Seite mit Musik rarer Bands. Ich war begeistert darüber. Lang vermißte RAC-Bands wie Arnhems Glorie, National Skin, The Allegiance, British Standard waren plötzlich wieder da und das ist genial. Ein riesen Dankeschön an alle helfenden Kameraden für die Unterstützung!

 

Das Hauptaugenmerk bei Deinem Blog liegt ja beim RAC, allerdings las ich auch, daß Oi! ebenso einen Platz im Blog finden soll. Du bist also nicht von der umgehenden P.C. zerfressen und scheinst keine Vorurteile in die eine oder andere Richtung zu haben. Schließt das eine das andere nicht automatisch aus, wie viele es leider sehen?

Ja, ich stelle auch rare Oi!-Bands mit in den Blog und werde es auch in Zukunft tun. Wir werden niemals unsere Oi!-Musik der Antifa oder anderen politisch korrekten Wichsern überlassen! In den 80ern waren die sog. unpolitischen Oi!-Bands antikommunistisch und patriotisch, was soll also falsch daran sein? Man wird auf der Seite aber nie irgendwelche geldgeile und dumme Penner sehen, sondern nur nationale Oi!-Bands. Wir verschließen uns niemandem, denn das wäre blöd. Hier geht es um Oi! und nicht um Rap oder Reggae!

 

Die Besucher Deines Blogs können einiges an Musik und auch alte Zineausgaben von Deiner Seite laden. Hast Du die Rechte dafür bekommen, oder wie gehst Du damit um?

Bist Du ein Ankläger? Ich lade weder Michael Jackson- noch Madonna-Alben hoch, hehehe... Auch lade ich keine neuen Alben hoch, weil das unsere Bewegung zerstört. 90% des veröffentlichten Zeugs stammt von unveröffentlichten Kassetten, Demos, Konzerten, oder sind alte Zines. Alles andere sind limitierte Veröffenlichungen, oder halt altes Material.

 

Was planst Du mit dem Blog in nächster Zeit, was erwartet den Besucher?

Interviews, Musik und all das übliche, da mich immer wieder ältere Kollegen kontaktieren und mir Sachen zukommen lassen und mir in irgend einer Weise helfen.

 

Ersetzt das Internet mit der Zeit das typische Zine?

Ja und das ist schade... Geb' nicht mir, sondern dem technischem Fortschritt die Schuld! Ich liebe gute alte Skinzines auf Papier und ich machte das eine oder andere Zine hier, aber in diesem Scheiß-Zeitalter müssen wir auch aufs Internet zugreifen. Dieser Tage erscheinen nur das "Skinhead Magazine" aus Spanien und "XX" aus Griechenland und England häufig, ...schade!

 

Wie ist es um die Szene in Deiner Gegend bestellt?

Die griechische Bewegung kommt voran mit vielen Bands und Konzerten und das stimmt uns alle gut. Wir haben einige gute und junge Bands wie Sergeant Oi! und Stavroforia.

 

Was sind Deine ewigen Bandfavoriten und Lieder und warum?

Zu viele, um sie hier aufzulisten. Ich höre auch nicht nur RAC-Gruppen, sondern auch Punk und Rockmusik. Einige Favoriten (alle Stile umfassend) sind aber Betrayed, Birthward '82, Another Mans Poison, Forced Reality, Kuntra, Sergeant Oi!, Cause Of Honour, Vengeance, T.M.F, Skullhead, Skrewdriver, Mau Maus, Undead, Actives, Eskorbuto, Motorhead etc. Großartige Songs sind für mich, wo Musik und Texte stimmen; aber auch zu viele, um sie jetzt aufzuzählen.

 

Nun kannst Du noch Werbung für Deinen Blog machen, Grüße loswerden, oder anderes Zeugs vom Stapel lassen.

Hello my friend, please introduce yourself to the readers.

Hello to you and to all your readers! My name is Albert, im a working racialist skinhead from Hellas, 28 years old.

 

You create the Blogseite "Glory Days of RAC" (http://gloryrac.blogspot.com). Tell us something about the Blog.

In December of 2006 and as internet had already a big succes and a great response to our movement, i create the site Glory days of R.A.C, a site dedicated to the first steps of our music revolutionary and the more rare, unknown and undergound R.A.C bands.

 

How did you come onto the idea?

Always i was involvent in all the usual actions as a young ns/skinhead, political, musical and all these, but i was also collector and always like very much the first R.A.C bands especially from England. It is true that a big percent of these first bands was unknown to most people or almost the whole movement have not listen nothing from them or have seen any foto. Also i never seen any site dedicated to these bands and thats together with my music knowledge force me to create the blog.

 

Why did you choose this way and not a typical internet side or a printed version in form of a Zine or so?

Because the blogs are free, you dont pay and also because you dont need some format program to create a blog. I have a knowledge to make a site but i choose the blog for these reasons. No printing because the most importand to the site are all these ultra rare sounds and i dont can offer them through the paper, right?

 

What do you want reach with the side?

Nothing, just i want to sharer these sounds with all the comrades. It’s my pleasure, a hobby and good for the movement. We always need a site like this.

 

Make you everything alone or do you get help of somebody?

In the beginning i was 100% alone and all the material from my personal collection and knowledge. After some time, some old comrades send me material and help me. Also the site force some persons from lost bands to contact me and give us the change finally to listen their bands and i fell very good for this. Long gone R.A.C bands like Arnhems Glorie, National Skin, The Allegiance, British Standard, finally appeared from the undergound and this is good. A great salute to all the comrades for their help!

 

Chief attention lies on R.A.C, however, I also read in a place that you also Oi! on the side to want take. So you not infected by the political correctness and not have any prejudices against the one or other way. Doesn't this exclude the one or the other thing, how it would many have?

Yes i put some real Oi! bands to the site and i will continue to do this. We never give OUR Oi! music to antifa scums or political correct wankers! In the ‘80’s the so called apolitical Oi! Bands was anti-commies and patriots at least so where is the strange? You will never seen in the site stupid money makers but true Oi! bands from nationalists or very close to our side. We dont close the doors to these persons because is just stupid. Exclude the one or the other thing? Mate, i upload Oi! not rap or reggae!

 

Users can load something down to music and also Zines on your Blog. You have been easily right for this?

You are prosecutor? I dont upload M. Jackson, or Madonna albums! hehehe...i never upload also brand new R.A.C albums because this is destroy our movement! 90% of the sounds in Glory days are unreleased tapes, demos, gigs, old zines, etc and all the others old or limited edition releases.

 

How the plans of yours Blog in next time, what may the reader expect?

Interviews, sounds all the ususal, as we have some more rare material and as old persons contact me and help me....

 

Does the internet replace the typical Zines with the time?

Yes and this is bad..... Blame it on technology not me! I love the good old skinzines on paper and i make some zine here but in our full of shit age we must move through internet also. These days i seen only ‘’Skinhead Magazine’’ from Spain and "XX" Hellas and Britain to release very often issues....sad...

 

How it shows with the scene in your area?

Hellenic movement going forward with many bands and gigs and we are all very happy! We have some good young bands here like Sergeant Oi! and Stavroforia.

 

What your band favorites and which songs are ever great and why?

Too many to list and i dont listen only R.A.C bands but punk and rock also....some of my best (all the kinds together) are: Betrayed, Birthward '82, Another Mans Poison, Forced Reality, Kuntra, Sergeant Oi!, Cause Of Honour, Vengeance, T.M.F, Skullhead, Skrewdriver, Mau Maus, Undead, Actives, Eskorbuto, Motorhead, etc. Great songs are these with great music and great lyrics also, too many again.
