Fist Of Steel (Brasilien)

Bitte erzählt den Lesern etwas über das erste und letzte Lineup von Fist Of Steel.

Das Lineup wechselte ständig, da alle Musiker noch an eigenen Projekten arbeiteten. Fist Of Steel sind letztendlich ich und eine Menge guter Freunde.

 

Die Band löste sich nun auf. Was sind die Gründe dafür?

Heutzutage habe ich einfach kaum noch Zeit für die Musik. Aber ich habe Fist Of Steel nicht endgültig aufgelöst. Mehr Material wird irgendwann erscheinen...

 

Denkt Ihr über eine Reunion nach, oder wird es andere Projekte von Euch geben?

Fist of Steel ist für immer in meinem Herzen.

 

Ich kenne nur die Veröffentlichung "Sons of Brazil", hörte aber, daß es darüber hinaus noch mehr Material von Euch gibt. Was wurde bisher veröffentlicht?

"Sons of Brazil" ist die letzte Veröffentlichung von Fist Of Steel. Das Album beinhaltet einige alte und einige gute Lieder aus der FOS-Geschichte, abgerundet durch ein tolles Booklet. "Odin Records" leisteten damit gute Arbeit.

 

Euer Sound ist der alte RAC und ich mag ihn sehr. Welche Bands beeinflußten Euch so?

Ohne Zweifel sind das: Brutal Attack, Skullhead, Skrewdriver, 4 Skins und The Last Resort (das sind meine Lieblingsbands).

 

Neben zwei Ultima Thule-Songs spielt Ihr auch das traditionelle "Green fields of France" nach. Was bedeutet der Song für Euch?

Es ist mehr als ein Lied, es ist eine Hymne.

 

Eure Lieder erzählen von Patriotismus und Stolz. Erzählt mal etwas mehr über Eure Texte.

Wir sind gegen rote Lügen und denken, daß wir jederzeit stolz auf unser Land sein dürfen.

 

Auch singt Ihr über Skinheads. Was bedeutet die Skinheadszene für Euch?

Es ist eine Mischung aus guten Leuten, die für die Wahrheit kämpfen und einige Verräter, die nur für ihre eigenen Vorteile kämpfen.

 

Wie sieht es mit der brasilianischen Szene aus?

Da ich nicht mehr so involviert bin, kann ich dazu nicht viel sagen.

Tell us a bit over your lineup.

The lineup always changed for the fact that all the musicians work on their own projects.

In fact FOS was me and a lot of good friends everytime.

 

The band was split up yet. What are the cause for the split up?

I got no time for music nowadays, but, I have no reason to split the band up. More material will come in the right moment…

 

Do you think about a reformation from Fist of Steel or would you realise other musical things?

Fist of Steel is forever in my heart.

 

I only know your output "Sons of Brazil" but I’d read that it give some other stuff. What things had you also realise?

"Sons of Brazil" is the last release and contains some old and some different good stuff on a very nice booklet… "Odin Records" did a good job.

 

Your sound is like the older RAC and I find it great. From which bands are you influenced?

No doubt to say: Brutal Attack, Skullhead, Skrewdriver, 4 Skins and the Last Resort (they are my favourite bands).

 

Besides two Ultima Thule coversongs you cover the traditional song "Green fields of France". What is the song for you?

Not just a song but an Anthem.

 

Your songs are tell about to be patriotic and proud. Tell us more about your lyrics.

We are against red lies and believe that we have to be proud of our own land everytime.

 

You also sing about Skinheads. What is the Skinhead scene for you?

A mix of good people fighting for the truth and some traitors fighting for their own principles.

 

How show it with the scene in Brazil?

As I'm out of the scene… I can not say much things about it.
