Ihr seid ja noch eine recht „junge" Band. Wie lange existiert Donnerhall schon und gab es schon Umbesetzungen? Uns gibt es jetzt so ca. 3 Jahre in denen es schon einige Umbesetzungen gab, aber wie es das Schicksal wohl so will, haben wir es trotzdem immer geschafft irgendwie weiter zu machen.
Wie kamt Ihr dazu, eine Band zu gründen? War einfach ne spontane Kneipenidee aus einer langen Weile heraus.
Ihr spielt, meiner Meinung nach, noch eine Mischung aus RAC und Skinhead-Rock´n´Roll, so stellt sich die Frage der Einflüsse. Von welchen Stilen und Bands wurdet Ihr beeinflußt? Warum gerade die? Beeinflusst wurden wir mehr von den Bands der 90ér und früher, da wir damit aufgewachsen sind und sie auch heute noch hauptsächlich hören!
Viele deutsche Bands änderten mit der Zeit auch ihren Stil von Skinhead-Rock´n´Roll und RAC in Metal und Hatecore o.ä. Kommt das für Euch in Frage? Nein, auf gar keinen Fall!!! Wir sind Skinheads und wollen auch nur diese Musik machen!
In Euren Stücken bekennt Ihr Euch zum Skinheadkult und zur Skinheadszene. Was verbindet Euch mit diesem Kult und der Szene? Seid Ihr alle Skinheads? Wir sind alle Skinheads und leben teilweise schon viele Jahre so, es ist einfach unser Leben!
Wo wir gerade beim Thema sind. Was haltet Ihr von den alten Oi!-Heroen wie 4 Skins, Business oder Cock SParrer? Einfach Spitze, besonders Cock Sparrer und Bands wie Combat 84 sind absolut der Hammer!
Was kreist privat für Musik auf dem Plattenteller, oder welche Silberfische habt Ihr im Keller..., nein, welche Silberlinge drehen sich im Spieler? - Apropos Silberfische, wenn Ihr die goldfarben lackiert, dann habt Ihr Goldfische...;-) Also bei uns dreht sich eigentlich hauptsächlich alles was Oi! und R.a.c. ist auf dem Teller! Aber ne gute Motörhead Scheibe ist auch nicht zu verachten, wie auch manches andere!
Ich konnte Euch vor einigen Jahren auf einen Celtic Warrior-Gig in Lüchow bestaunen und war begeistert. Wie oft habt Ihr nun schon live gespielt und mit wen? Ach du scheiße, keine Ahnung, aber einige waren das schon! Was man dazu sagen muß ist das wir am liebsten live spielen und das eigentlich so oft es geht, wir haben da mehr Bock drauf als zum Beispiel nur im Proberaum oder im Studio zu hocken.
Was waren Eure besten Konzerte? Das sind wir uns alle ziemlich einig, das waren zu einem in Wernigerode auf einer kleinen Berghütte und im Skinhouse Menfis in Thüringen! Aber im großen und ganzen waren alle ganz gut!
Gibt es irgendwelche Peinlichkeiten von Konzis zu berichten? Es gab schon mal kleine Ausfallerscheinungen die wohl dem Teufel Alkohol zugeschrieben werden müssen! Aber mehr verraten wir lieber nicht! ;-)
Eure CD „Verfolgt und gejagt" gefällt mir echt gut und ich denke, daß dies auch andere sagen. Könnt Ihr was über die Reaktionen bisher sagen? Die Reaktionen waren eigentlich gemischt, aber im Grunde sind wir schon zufrieden! Wir würden zwar im Nachhinein manches anders machen, aber passt schon!
Was dürfen die Leser in naher Zukunft von Euch erwarten? In nächster Zeit sind wir wieder mehr live unterwegs, und vielleicht machen wir mal wieder ein paar Proberaumaufnahmen die man sich dann auf unserer Seite runterladen kann!
Der PC und das Internet nehmen immer mehr Platz in unserem Leben ein und auch unsere Szene ist davon betroffen. Neben vielen Vorteilen, öffnet dies auch Tür und Tor für viele Asis und Spinner. Jeder Möchtegern kann auf eigenen Seiten Mist verbreiten, ein Forum erstellen, in dem er sich selbst beweihräuchert, oder man schreibt in den vielen Foren Scheiße über andere, um diese in Mißkredit zu bringen. Meist sind diese Spinner einfach nur Verlierer, die in der wirklichen Szene keine Rolle spielen, doch durch das Internet können sie anonym ihren Schrott verbreiten. Was denkt Ihr über solche „Internetnazis"? Traurige Gestalten, Nordwind hat da ein schönes Lied drüber gemacht, World Wide Web, sollte man sich mal anhören!
Aber das Weltnetz hat ja auch sein Gutes, so fanden inzwischen viele Bands und Zines den Weg ins Netz und nutzen dieses Medium positiv. Ihr seid ja auch vertreten im Netz. So stellt sich die Frage, in welchen Foren und auf welchen Seiten Ihr desöfteren seid? In Kontakt kann man immer über unsere Seite www.donnerhall.org treten, ansonsten sind wir kaum in Foren aktiv!
Welchen Stellenwert haben Fanzines in der heutigen Zeit für Euch? Sehr interessant und sehr wichtig!
Lest Ihr auch Bücher und wenn ja, was liegt auf Euren Nachtschrank außer Tittenheften und der Fernsehzeitung? Die eine oder andere Lektüre wird schon mal zur Hand genommen, aber die Leseratten sind wir alle nicht gerade!
Wo würdet Ihr Euch politisch einordnen? Sagen wir nicht!
Unterstützt Ihr Parteien und Organisationen? Sagen wir auch nicht!;-)
In der Bewegung und von einigen Bands wird zum Boykott von Szenemarken wie „Lonsdale", „Fred Perry", „Sherman" oder „Dr. Martens" aufgerufen und anstatt dessen soll man noch teurere Kleidung wie beispielsweise „Thor Steinar" kaufen, die mit Sicherheit auch nicht von Gleichgesinnten hergestellt wurden, mit Ausnahme des Logos, denn wer näht heute noch seine Klamotten selber?!? Wie steht Ihr zu solchen Boykottaufrufen? Sollen sie doch aufrufen, wir lassen uns von keinem vorschreiben was wir zu tragen haben!

You are still a quite "young" band. How long already does Donnerhall exist and already was there changes in the lineup? We exist now ca. 3 years and it gave some changes in the lineup. The destiny want it so that we will go on...
How did you manage to found a band? Simply an spontaneous bar idea was out of a long while.
You in my opinion, still play a mixture of RAC and skinhead rock 'n' roll, came the question of your influences. Which styles had you influenced and from which bands? Why just this one? We were more influenced from the bands of the 90ies and earlier since we have grown up with that and today we hear that stuff too!
Many German bands also changed her style of skinhead rock 'n' roll and RAC in Metal and Hatecore with the time, is it possible for you or isn´t it your thing? No, not the slightest case !!! We are Skinheads and also play only this music!
In your songs you confess the skinhead cult and the Skinhead scene. What connects you with this cult and the scene? Are you all Skinheads? We are all Skinheads and live so many years, it is simply our life!
Where we are just at the topic. What keep you out for Oi!-heroes like 4 Skins, Business or Cock SParrer? Great, special are absolutely Cock Sparrer and bands like Combat 84 are the hammer!
What circulate privately for music on the turntable or which CDs turns in the player? What therefore with us everything concerns actually mainly Oi! and R.a.c. is on the plate! But an good Motörhead song find often the way to our ears!
I could see you some years ago on a Celtic Warrior gig in Lüchow and was enthusiastic. How often did you play now live? Oh I am sorry, I have no idea but some were it already. What to this one must say, we like it more to play live. It´s more fun as to play in studio or so.
What are your best concerts? All of us agree quite this, these were in Wernigerode to one on a small mountain house and in the Skinhouse Menfis in Thüringen! But everyone was quite good in the great and whole!
There is any embarrassments of report concisely? There were small failure appearances have to this one be ascribed to the devil alcohol well before! But we prefer to betray more not! ;-)
I like your CD real well „Verfolgt und gejagt" ("pursued and chased") and I think, that say this also other one? Can you say what about the reactions till now? The reactions were actually mixed but we are already content in the reason! We would make afterward some things different but already suit!
What may the readers expect from you in the near future? We are more live in transit in next time again one and, once, perhaps we make this one to a couple of testroom-takes which can download from our side!
The PC and the internet take a more and more seat in our life and our scene is also affected by this. Besides many advantages this also opens door and gate wankers and bastards for many. Every would-be can spread dung, make a forum on own sides in which he was great or one writes shit to himself in the many forums about others to bring these into discredit. These spinners are simply only losers who doesn't play any role in the actual scene but by the internet they can anonymously spread her scrap metal most. What do you think over such "internet Nazis"? Sad shapes, Nordwind has played a beautiful song about this there should one sound once, „World Wide Web"!
However, the world net also has his good, many bands and Zines found the way to the net in the meantime and use this medium positively so. You also are represented in the net. The question for you in which forum and on which sides surrenders so? In contact one always can step over our side, we otherwise are hardly active in forum!
Which place value do fanzines have for you in today's time? Very interesting and very important!
Also read you books and if yes, what lies on your night cupboard apart from tit exercise-books and the television newspaper? Just this or other reading is taken before to her hand but all of us aren't the great readers!
Where would you get in lane politically? Don't say we!
Does your parties and organizations support? We don't say either ;-)
Some groups and bands want a boycott of scenetrademarks like "Sherman" "Lonsdale" "Fred Perry" or " Dr. Martens" in the movement. They say we should buy expencives labels like „Thor Steinar" which wasn't produced with safety of like-minded either with the exception of the logo, then who, today, still sews his gear? What do you think of such boycott calls? Shall they call anyway we let to stipulate to carry we what of no-one have!
