Kolico (Spanien) Kolico ist eine Punkband aus Spanien. Sie besteht aus Raúl (31) Gitarre, David (27) Gesang, Pablo (26) Schlagzeug, Román (24) Gitarre und Kiko (26) Baß. Kolico über Kolico: Wir sind eine Punkrockband, die in der Außenseiterstadt Benikalap entstand. Im Norden der Stadt Valencia. Wir machen Musik zum Spaß, aber auch um die Leute zum Denken zu bewegen. So über aktuelle Geschehnisse in der Welt und die Hoffnung mit Punk etwas zu ändern. Unsere Liveshows sind so schnell und energisch wie der pure Ramonessound (allerdings ohne Pause zwischen den Songs). Unsere Einflüsse ziehen wir aus vielen Stilen, z.B. den California Punk, oder auch spanischen Punk. Wir spielen Punk mit einer Prise Hardcore, aber nie ohne Melodie und unsere Umsetzung macht daraus etwas anderes. Mit unserem letzten Album „Cosas que hacer en Benikkalap“ geben wir ein Beispiel für das, wie wir in Zukunft klingen wollen. Unsere Stücke sind sehr verschieden. Wir bringen Spaßiges zutage, denn auch das muß sein, aber auch die bittersten Momente des Lebens werden beleuchtet. Auch wollen wir sozial und politisch sein, wir wollen Alternativen aufzeigen (Dies kommt besonders im letzten Album zur Geltung). Alle Titel basieren auf wahre Begebenheiten. Bei den Liedern gibt jeder seinen Senf dazu und gerade dadurch dürften sie von der Komposition her so interessant sein. Musikalisch orientieren wir uns an spanischen und internationalen Bands: Bad Religion, NOFX, Green Day, Rise Against, Pennywise, Lagwagon, Rancid... Wir spielten auf diversen Veranstaltungen und man findet uns auf verschiedenen Compilations. So z.B. beim bzw. auf „Baitu Rock Fest“ 2005 und 2008, „Macrogachas Calenticas“, „Marcelino Punk y Vino“ Vol. 1 and 2, „Segunda Generacion“ von „Santo Grial“, Fanzine „Rock Nazion“, „Nuestro Rock Fest“ und eine Menge an Digitalmagazinen und Internetzines durchs ganze Land. Das neue Album „Cosas que hacer en Benikalap“ wird in Mexico von „Pighouse productions“ veröffentlicht und sie organisieren auch eine Tour mit 16 Auftritten in Mexico im Sommer 2009 und für Kolumbien ist „Distribuye y Resiste“ aus Medellin Stadt verantwortlich.

Kolico (Spain) Kolico was a Punkrock band from Spain. Members are Raúl (31) on guitar, David (27) are vocalist, Pablo (26) on drums, Román (24) on guitar and Kiko (26) on bass. Kolico about Kolico: We are a Punkrock band that was born in the outsider town of Benikalap, in the north side ofthe city Valencia. We try to make music for fon and to make people to think about the actual world problems and try to change that world with Punkrock music. Our live show is so fast and forceful, the more pure style of the Ramones (without stops between the songs). Our songs are influenced by groups in many styles as varied as Californian Punkrock or Spanish Punk. We play songs with the Punkrock essence and others most Hardcore (always without neglecting the melody and arrangements that makeit different). Withour last album „Cosas que hacer en Benikkalap“ we give a round on the style that we are lookingfor. Our songs are very different. From the moments of fun that also exist, until the bitterest moments of each person either by a story or a particular day, always starting (especially in this last record) a message of social and political environment in which denounce the current situation and believe that things can change, ultimately the situations in which there are day after day, and there are alot of variety, because although the lyricsare based on an original idea, all the songs are worked by all members of the group giving him a wealth compositional very interesting. Among his musical references are both Spanish and international groups: Bad Religion, NOFX, Green Day, Rise Against, Pennywise, Lagwagon, Rancid... Our new album „Cosas que hacer en Benikalap“ will be edited in Mexico by „Pighouse productions“ and is organizing a 16 dates tour in Mexico in the summer of 2009 and will be distributed in Columbia trought „Distribuye y Resiste of Medellin city“. |
